Our meetup members requested we explore Social Networking as a marketing tool. In response to this request we have invited Jaime Borschuk, MetroMint (http://www.metromint...., to show us how she uses MySpace and Flickr for network marketing. She will also discuss other social networking options that she has explored and lead a discussion on the role of social networking in successful marketing.
Metromint is a pure, natural and unsweetened mintwater marketed and distributed by San Francisco-based Soma Beverage Company, LLC., an innovative brand leader widely known for pioneering the mintwater beverage category. Since launching in 2004 by founders Rio Miura and Scott Lowe, Metromint has become one of the top 10 selling premium bottled waters in the natural food sector.
Jaime Borschuk is the Production Manager for Metromint, where she oversees Metromint's print, online, and community-based marketing initiatives. Jaime began working with Quinn Interactive in 2006 to produce Metromint's current website, and has since been developing web strategy and working to expand Metromint's online presence. Jaime has a BFA in Photography from the University of Iowa, and studied Graphic and Interactive Design at UC Berkeley Extension and California College of the Arts.
